Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Snippio ("we", "us", "our") operates getsnippio.com, a platform that (a) connects businesses and creators — brands run "campaigns" that reward creators for producing short-form video clips, and (b) provides an AI-powered editor that turns a long-form video into short clips with automatic captions. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use Snippio. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Snippio.

3. The marketplace (clients & creators)

Clients fund a campaign budget and set the reward terms. Creators submit clips against a campaign's rules. A client only pays for clips they approve as rule-compliant; Snippio charges a service fee (currently 15%) on top of the funded amount. Snippio is not a party to, and does not guarantee the outcome of, any specific campaign — clients set their own approval criteria.

4. The AI editor and subscriptions

The editor is available on paid subscription tiers (Starter, Plus, Pro), billed and processed through our payment partner, Whop. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through Whop's own account management page. We do not store your card details — Whop handles all payment processing.

You keep ownership of the videos you upload and the clips generated from them. By uploading a video, you confirm you have the rights to that content and grant Snippio a limited license to process, store, and transform it solely to provide the editing service to you.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Snippio to:

• Upload content you don't have the rights to, or that infringes someone else's copyright
• Upload illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative content
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform
• Use the marketplace to pay for or submit fraudulent/bot-generated engagement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Payments & refunds

All payments are processed by Whop. Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by law. Campaign funds are held for approved-clip payouts and the platform fee as described in Section 3.

7. Disclaimers & liability

Snippio is provided "as is". AI-generated clip selection and captions are automated and may contain errors — review clips before publishing them. To the extent permitted by law, Snippio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Snippio after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
