Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), account role.
- Uploaded videos: the source files you upload to the editor, and the clips it generates. Stored on our hosting provider and Cloudflare R2 for backup.
- Payment data: handled entirely by our payment partner, Whop. We never see or store your card details — we only receive confirmation of successful/cancelled payments.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) used for security and debugging.
2. How we use it
- To provide the marketplace and AI editor you signed up for
- To process payments and activate/deactivate subscriptions via Whop
- To measure the effectiveness of our own advertising — when a subscription is purchased, we report the purchase (a hashed version of your email plus the amount — never your name, card, or video content) to Meta's Conversions API so we can tell whether our ads are working
- To respond to support requests
3. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in (via NextAuth). It's required for the site to function and isn't used for advertising. We don't currently place third-party advertising or analytics cookies in your browser — the ad-measurement described above happens on our server, not through a tracking cookie on this site.
4. Who we share data with
- Whop — payment processing and subscription billing
- Cloudflare R2 — file storage/backup
- OpenAI — processes video/audio to generate transcripts, highlight clips, and captions
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — receives a hashed email + purchase amount after a subscription purchase, for ad performance measurement only
We don't sell your personal data to anyone.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us using the email on your account confirmation to exercise any of these rights, and we'll respond within 30 days.
6. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded source videos are kept only as long as needed to produce your clips, plus a limited backup window; you can request deletion at any time.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time — the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
